Communications firm keen to unite local businesses

VEECOME Systems are hosting a networking event aimed at business owners in the Borders and north Northumberland next week.

This free event is set for Wednesday, October 31, at the Maltings in Berwick when Veecom will be hosting a morning of presentations on new ways of working aimed at giving businesses some ideas of how communications products may be implemented in their own environments.

They are also inviting some local companies to present to the room about their own services.

Speaking about the event, Veecom Systems sales manager, Tony Miller commented: “I’m a Borders lad from Eyemouth who left home and moved to Edinburgh managing a successful business here. I still have a close bond back home with my father in Eyemouth and my

mum in Berwick”. My brother runs a successful building business in Berwick.

“My colleague Gavin Wilson who is working on the project, also lives in Berwick so we are determined to make this event a success. “I’ve always been frustrated that the business focus is always on the larger towns and cities so I want to see if I can kick start some of the bigger industry giants coming to the Borders to meet the smaller firms here.
