Coldstream Burns Club has special guest

THE president of the Burns World Federation, Robert Stewart is to propose the immortal memory at Coldstream Burns Club, marking a significant year in the club’s history.

Confirmation that Robert will be the principal guest has delighted officials at the club, one of the oldest in the country, which is celebrating its 125th anniversary.

Robert took over the presidency in October 2012, following on from Jim Shields.

The annual supper will be on Saturday, January 26, and it will be a sell-out.

The ladies night will take place on Saturday, February 9, and the main speaker at this event will be Helen Morrison from Airdrie.
