Cockburnspath mum to chop of her locks for Children in Need

A COCKBURNSPATH mum of three is to chop off her locks in aid of Children in Need.

Sarah Ross Russell is looking for sponsorship for her head shave which will take place at a coffee morning to be held at Cockburnspath Village Nursery, in the Church Hall, at 1030am on Saturday November 10.

Sarah said: “I’m going to ‘Chop MyLocks’ for Children in Need. My hair is around 40cm long at the moment, so there is a substantial amount to come off - right to a no.1!

“I have three happy, healthy children, for which I am very grateful, but makes life very hectic! I felt this is something I can do to raise money for a fantastic cause that supports so many worthy projects in the UK benefiting so many children.”
