Laurie steps in front of lens for talk

Paxton House’s new autumn events programme continues with an exclusive evening with the renowned wildlife and landscape photographer Laurie Campbell on Tuesday, October 18.

Laurie will be presenting stunning new images, shot within the past 18 months from the grounds of Paxton House to the Highlands.

His photograph of otters on the Tweed was published in the July issue of the BBC Wildlife Magazine.

Director Claire McDade said, “It promises to be an extremely interesting and enjoyable evening. We have been expanding the range of events we hold at Paxton House over the autumn and winter months with new music and theatrical events as well as talks and outdoor activities. The next event after Laurie’s talk is the launch of new Borders theatre group, Treading the Borders, with a premiere of the double bill, ‘Marrakech’ by Graham Swannell and ‘I Can’t Remember Anything’ by Arthur Miller on Saturday, October 22.”

Tickets for Laurie’s talk are £6.
