Lafarge Tarmac has donated a total of £2,000 to five East Lothian organisations as part of their 2014 - 2015 Community Awards Scheme.

The organisations receiving funding are: Dunbar Christmas Lights Committee, which is putting the award into helping with maintenance of the town’s annual Christmas lights display; Dunbar Rugby Football Club, which will use the funds to assist with coaching of young players; Dunbar Scout Group, which will use the funds to purchase equipment for its new Explorer Unit; East Linton Playgroup, which will use the funding to run a weekly Physiball fun exercise class for the children and Letham Gardens Tenants Social Committee, which will put the award towards the cost of a summerhouse for residents in the Letham Gardens Sheltered Housing complex in Dunbar.
