History Month celebrated at Berwickshire High School

LGBT is an organisation which raises the awareness of Homophobia and homophobic bullying and how this can be dealt with in schools.

Many schools in the Borders use LGBT to highlight the importance of acceptance in society and as part of LGBT History Month, Class 2C2 at The Berwickshire High School, along with their Guidance Teacher Mr Drummond and Form teacher Mrs Thompson, helped raise the sum of £96.65 from a Bake Sale held in thhe school during morning interval recently.

The pupils who were involved planned and carried out the challenge as part of their Dynamic Youth Aware Saltire Challenge. The students will receive a certificate for the ten hours of volunteering that it took to carry out and complete the challenge.
