NHS Borders is inviting both members of the public and staff to vote in their first ever staff awards scheme.
The ‘Celebrating Excellence Awards’ will show recognition and appreciation for the hard-work, dedication and commitment to providing excellent services demonstrated by staff and volunteers.
Members of the public can nominate in three categories: person-centred care - an individual or team who deliver high quality care while being responsive to individual needs and preferences, and who are open and honest with service users, treating everyone with care, compassion, dignity and respect; volunteer of the year - an individual or team who provide an outstanding service and have shown exceptional commitment; and student of the year - an individual who in the course of his or her studies or work placement has shown impressive dedication and commitment.
NHS can nominate for a further five awards: clinical excellence; innovation and improvement; behind the scenes; improving health; leading by example; and working in partnership
