Eyemouth’s support plan

EYEMOUTH is the largest community in the Borders to sign up to Scottish Borders Council’s emergency plan and the first step is a public meeting in the Community Centre, Albert Road, on Monday, January 23, starting at 7.30pm.

Organised by Eyemouth Town Council those attending the meeting will help put together a plan for dealing with local emergencies, as part of Scottish Borders Council’s region wide Local Resilience Plan.

The plan will be specific to Eyemouthmaking residents better prepared to cope locally with an emergency and identifying what voluntary support will be available and by whom.
