Eyemouth drug arrests

Three people have been arrested and charged under the Misuse of Drugs Act following a police raid at an address in Eyemouth’s Chapel Street yesterday (Wednesday, May 1).

After police recovered Class A drugs with a potential value of £1400, a Police Scotland spokesman said: “Drugs are a blight on our communities and as part of our commitment to keeping people safe we will act on any information we receive in relation to drug crime within the Scottish Borders.

“Those who wish to report drug-related criminal activity in their area can contact their local policing team or alternatively, report the matter to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”

Two women, aged 34, and a 39 year old man are scheduled to appear at Jedburgh Sheriff Court today (Thursday) in connection with the alleged drug offences.
