The annual Grantshouse and District Horticultural Society Show was held on Sunday, and with many impressive entries in most classes, the judges were given the difficult task of picking the winners.

Society Cup for most points in pot plants - C Bertram; Bell Cup for best rose in show - A Common; Brown Cup for most points in gladioli - C Bertram; Brown Shield for most points in dahlias - A Common; Clement Rose Bowl for most points in cut flowers - A Common; Hogarth Cup for most points in onions/shallots - M Wyse; Laidlaw Cup for most points in potatoes - M Wyse; Write and McIntyre Cup for most points in vegetables overall - M Wyse; Greenwood Ladies Cup for most points in Industrial classes - J Walker; Rawlins Male Cup for most points in Industrial classes - C Patterson; Lisa Rutherford award for best in sewing - S Last; Sanderson-Barry award for best in baking - J Walker; Wyse Junior Cup (five and under) - Eliza Bevan; Rawlins Junior Cup (six-seven years) - Jemima Bevan; McCrindle-Brown Girls Cup (10-15 years) - Tabitha Bevan; Boys Cup (10-15 years) Barnaby Bevan; Wright-McIntyre Cup for the written Lords Prayer - Holly Robertson.
