Doddie is special guest at RNLI Concert

Former Scottish rugby internationalist Doddie Weir is the special guest at this year’s Eyemouth Lifeboat Station Carol Concert.

The concert will be held in Eyemouth Parish Church on Sunday, December 11, starting at 6pm, and Doddie will give his tribute by reading ‘The Lifeboat Men’.

Conductor for the concert is Neil Butterworth with organist Julian Bonia and Brass-on-Tweed led by Diana Harris.

Among those contributing during the concert will be Pipe Major Andrew Ainslie of Duns Pipe Band, George Shaw, senior superintendent (Royal National Mission for Deep Sea Fishermen), Eyemouth Primary School Glee Club, Berwick Arts Choir and The Podlies.

Admission to the concert is £3.50 for adults with children aged 12 and under free.
