Cyclist falls into Eyemouth harbour

A cyclist was taken to hospital early this morning, after swerving to avoid his dog and falling into Eyemouth Harbour.

By the time emergency services arrived, rescuers had helped the man to climb out of the water. The man was not believed to be injured , nut being mildly hypothermic after nearly 20 minutes in the water, he was taken to hospital once Eyemouth Lifeboat returned him to shore.
