Council to explain changes to benefits

People with a learning disability are being invited to attend one of the five information sessions being organised by Scottish Borders Council to explain changes to welfare benefits.

Advisers from the council’s welfare benefits service will be on hand to offer information on the reforms to anyone with a learning disability, their family carers and support workers

The Berwickshire based session is on Tuesday, July 29, at Southfield Community Centre, Duns (2pm to 4pm). Other sessions during that week are being held at Galashiels, Kelso, Hawick and Peebles.
