Walkers at Coldingham can now take a break in comfort.

The Coldingham Society, with funding from the Drone Hill wind farm, and DIY from Ian and Norman, have replaced some of the seats around the village.

The society also publishes two free booklets with details of walks around the village including the ‘Writers Walk’ which highlights the homes of writers and authors who have lived in the village.

These are available from the Village bookshop, Eyemouth Museum and the Luckenbooth.

The ‘Writers Walk’ trail visits places connected to local writers such as Annie S.Swan who lived at Templehall Farm; Evelyn Blantyre Simpson; and 19th century journalist, essayist and novelist William Tirebuck.
