Cockburnspath Nursery children recently went on a sponsed welly waddle around the village to raise money for the Cot Death Society.

In 2012 a Care Inspectorage report of the nursery scored it as ‘very good’ for quality of care and support, quality of environment, quality of staffing and quality of management and leadership. Inspectors said the nursery “provided a warm, welcoming and stimulating environment where the children could learn and develop through play while having fun.”

New manager Janice Lennon is determined to build on its high standards and learning and the children had fun on their recent welly waddle as well as raising £175.50 for the Cot Death Society.
