The Chernobyl Children’s Life Line Borders Link is staging an open night on Monday (November 4) at the Kingsknowes Hotel in Galashiels.
The meeting starts at 7pm and everyone is invited to come along and find out about the charity’s work which funds a visit each year to the Borders from Belarus children.
Secretary Sarah Barton said: “The open night is an opportunity for anyone interested in finding out about our charity. It is a chance to meet the members of our link and to get involved.”
The Scottish Borders link of the Chernobyl Children’s Life Line exists to help children suffering from the after-effects of the Chernobyl disaster and the economic situation in Belarus.
The charity is also holding a fundraising event on February 15 at Kelso Old Parish Church.
