There were big celebrations in Leitholm last weekend when the village hall reached a milestone birthday.

The hall committee put together a display of photographs and memorabilia marking the centenary of the hall for an exhibition on Friday, January 23. And it proved so successful with villagers and visitors that they that to extend its opening to Saturday and Sunday as well.

Old and young went along to see how life in the village had changed since 1915 and how much a part of village life the hall had been over the past century.
