Tarmac’s Dunbar Cement Plant was pleased to be able to give back into the local community by supporting Dunbar Lifeboat’s Annual Gala. The plant sponsored the main stage, pledging £800, with the stage providing a focal point throughout the event.

Plant manager Allan Ruxton said “As one of the town’s major employers, we are pleased to be able to support the great work of the RNLI in saving and protecting lives at sea.”

Veronica Davies, fundraiser for Dunbar Lifeboat, said: “We are grateful for the support of local businesses like Tarmac. The Gala brings people together to find out more about the lifeboat and have fun. Without donations from local businesses we would not be able to hold an event on this scale.”
