Cash and watches stolen during Eyemouth break-in

Borders Police are appealing for the public’s help following a break-in at a house in the Acredale Road area of Eyemouth.

Some time between 3pm on Friday, March 31. and 11.45pm on Tuesday, April 4, quantities of cash, including pounds, Euros, Hong Kong dollars and US dollars was stolen from the property.

Two Rolex Oyster Perpetual Air-King watches with silver bands, one with a blue face and one with a light pink face, were also taken.

PC Gordon Anderson of Eyemouth Police Station said: “We’re appealing for the public’s help as part of our ongoing investigation and urge anyone who may have seen suspicious behaviour in the area during this time to come forward.

“Likewise, if you may have information on the whereabouts of the stolen cash or watches we’d ask that you get in touch with us or report this anonymously to Crimestoppers.
