Following the merger of George F. White with the long established Farm Business Services (FBS) in October last year, the office has seen continued growth of its client base and now plans to add an additional service to the already extensive platform.

Nancy Sloan, founder of FBS and now consultant to George F. White commented: “The merger has given us the capability to serve our growing client base to the highest standard.

“It has proved a very exciting time watching the business grow and welcoming new people in to the team.”

The existing services offered by George F. White in Duns include farm consultancy, secretarial services, grants and subsidies, valuation, compensation, property and land sales, and strategic business management.

Michael Bell, Rural Practice Surveyor and leader of the Duns team added: “George F. White is a business that challenges the boundaries and is always looking for opportunities that will add value for our clients.

“Listening to clients we have recognised that there is a benefit in providing agriculture focused accountancy advice.

“It is vital that we engage with our clients to determine their service needs and fulfil those. Therefore, over the next few weeks we will be looking to recruit a Rural Business Accountant who will be actively involved with our farming clients to meet their financial requirements.”
