CLYDESDALE Bank has announced a new business and private banking leadership team for the Borders.
David Hannon has been appointed head of the Carlisle Business and Private Banking Centre.
He will continue to support existing customers and will also be responsible for attracting new business across Cumbria, Dumfries and Galloway and the Borders.
David, who has been in banking for almost 30 years, joined Clydesdale Bank in 2003. Since then he has held a number of senior roles, including managing partner at the Carlisle centre.
David will be assisted by senior manager Brian Davidson. Together they will coordinate a team of 15 managers, each specialising in agricultural, commercial or private banking.
David said: “We have developed a team in Carlisle which is recognised for its ability and experience in working with businesses of all sizes to really understand their needs, the challenges they face, and what support we can offer.
“We look forward to working with new and existing businesses as they expand and continue to play an important part in the local economy.”
