Businesses invited to conference

SMALL businesses in the Borders and north Northumberland are being invited to a conference next week.

Berwick accountants Greaves West & Ayre initiated the event and have teamed up with Edinburgh lawyers Tods Murray to discuss employment, pensions and succession planning matters.

A variety of experienced business advisors will be attending and speakers will address both legal and financial aspects of planning for the future.

The conference will look at partnership and company structures including shareholder agreements. It will also address changes to pensions and retirement age requirements.

“The aim of the conference is to highlight methods businesses can adopt to ensure problems are avoided and risks reduced,” said Robbie Dalgleish of Greaves West & Ayre.
