Eyemouth lifeboat’s retiring coxswain David ‘Bing’ Collin was given the traditional guard of honour by his fellow crew members.

As he left the boat after returning to Eyemouth harbour from his last exercise with the crew last Saturday morning his fellow crew members said their farewells.

There was also a reception committee waiting for him at the quayside, including a piper, RNLI volunteers and representatives from the town’s Herring Queen Committee.
