BARK news

THANK you to everyone who supported our flag day on Saturday and attended our pet show. We hope a good time was had by all and over £900 was raised across both events.

Our next event is our Summer Fayre on Saturday, August 11 at the Guild Hall - more details to follow.

Kayleigh and Candy, both Westies, need to be rehomed together; aged 11 and seven, with super temperaments they will be great companions. Kayleigh is on regular medication.

Charlie is around two years old and originally came in as a stray. He is a boisterous dog but has a gentle side. He is a lovely red colour and we believe he has previously been in another rescue. We do not know what he is like with other dogs but he is still just a youngster.

Sadly Kim, Clyde and Todd are still waiting for a home. When a dog, or cat for that matter, spends a long time with us and eventually finds a home the new owners can never understand why. We can’t wait for that day for these three. Let’s hope it’s soon.

Polly is a pretty looking cat with black and ginger markings on white. She is around nine years old and her personality is best described as variable.

Milo and Squirt are a pair of cats that need to be rehomed together. They will take time to settle in a new home but then will give you lots of love, attention and joy.

It is still kitten season and
we have a few kittens looking for new homes, including, black, black and white, tabby and ginger. We also have
numerous rabbits looking for new homes.
