BARK news

Our cattery is full at the moment including a few kittens that will be ready to go in a couple of weeks. Pansy is a pretty tabby girl, a friendly little thing although she can be timid at first. Four kittens that have just come in are two girls and two boys. One of the boys is entirely black and the other three are black with little bits of white here and there. They were abandoned with their mother when their owners moved house. Fortunately Jenny, as we have nicknamed her, has been an excellent mother and has undoubtedly saved their lives. She will be looking for a home too. She is really friendly and will make a great pet. We have some older cats including Chuck, a very handsome, longer-haired tabby. Jamie is a ginger tabby. Always ready for a chat and a stroke. Cole is a much older cat who just likes to eat and curl up and sleep. He wants a quiet home where he can enjoy a few of the home comforts. Dudley is also more senior in years but has very limited eye sight. He needs a home as an only cat. He will make a great companion as he is always ready for a chat and a cuddle, especially if there is food around. He needs to have his face washed twice a day to keep his eyes clear.

We have a steady stream of dogs coming and going. Abbey, Bubba and Pippen are just a few of the dogs that have found new homes. Many more are still waiting including 2 year old Billy, a black and tan medium sized cross. Zac is 4 year old and a very loving natured, tri colour, border collie. He is people friendly but children are very scary for him.

Our Pet Show and Funday is taking place on Sunday 22nd July, the day after our Flag Day on the Saturday. There will be lots going on at the Pet Show including the chance for your dog to have a go at an agility course.
