BARK news

BUZZ is an, almost entirely, black greyhound cross lurcher, who is around four years old. Sadly he had an injury to his tails so it is very short, but at least he can’t wipe you round the legs when it wags. He is very people friendly and has been fine with dogs outside his home environment.

Rocco is a beautiful, brindle coloured, large lurcher type. Although he gives us no bother in kennels he does suffer separation anxiety in his home so will need company to allow him to settle in his new home and work towards being able to leave him on his own.

Billy is around two years old and would be best described as a Beagle cross Staffie. He has a lovely personality but as he was a stray we know little more about him.

Nigel is a large male guinea pig. He is very chatty, we are unsure of his age but we don’t think he’s a youngster. Jacob is a lovely little black and white rabbit, who is well handled and friendly. We think he is about a year old.

Pansy, Buttercup, Rose and Daisy are four tabby kittens, all females, looking for new homes. They only came in last week and we are the first human company they had, so they are a little timid but are coming on well. They would be better in quieter homes.

Two older cats looking for separate homes are Dudley, black and white and Cole, all black. Both are very loving and affection.

A reminder that next Friday, June 30, is the last date for entries for our Pet Photographic Competition. Please make sure your entry is delivered to our shop or the kennels, together with £1 entry per photo, to be in with a chance of featuring on our 2012 Christmas Cards.
