BERWICK Art Group held their 48th annual exhibition last week.
The event took place in the spacious new Watchtower Gallery in the West End of Tweedmouth.
The preview evening featuring the work of over 200 local artists, members and non-members alike, attracted a full house of visitors.
This year’s judges were Kate Stephenson and Michael Richardson.
They awarded the Berwick Art Group Trophy to Billy Evans for his painting, ‘Voyage’.
Paintings by Paul Priestman and Tony Johnson were ranked as “highly commended”.
The Fred Stott Memorial Watercolour Trophy was presetned by Fiona Stott to Paul Priestman for his painting ‘Ayton Law’.
Members are reminded that the new session of Berwick Art Group begins on Thursday September at the Community Centre, Palace Street, at 7pm, along with the AGM. New members will be welcome.
