Orchestra is on the move

SCOTTISH Borders Orchestra is on the move — having relocated its administrative office to The Bothy Office, Newton Don near Kelso.

General manager, Helen Longmuir, explains that this is the next stage in the development of this progressive organisation which is always moving forward to achieve its aim to enable as many people as possible to participate in making music and to enable people in all situations in the Borders to hear live orchestral music.

The move coincides with the launch of the SBCO website, designed by Vicki Magee of Web Advantage.

Helen urges internet users to log on to www.sbco.org.uk and find out what the organisation has to offer musician and listener and indeed potential funders.

Anyone wanting more information about the SBCO can contact either Helen or Wendy Moss on (01573) 228464.

* The orchestra's next concert is in Galashiels in May.
