Earthquake expert visits Longridge

Former Longridge Towers student Dr Alastair Sloan, now a research Fellow at Oxford University, has returned to his old school to lecture pupils on his own research specialism of earthquakes.

SWRI ‘Walk the World’ - in Ayton

In place of their usual SWRI rural ramble this year the Berwickshire ladies took part instead in the ‘Women Walk the World’ for ACWW - well the walk wasn’t actually around the world it was restricted more to walking around Ayton!
